Original, dependency-free reference implementations of well-known public algorithms (binary parsing, checksums, encoding, hashing). These are written from scratch against public specifications and test vectors — not copied from third-party licensed libraries.

External libraries with similar functionality are cataloged as links only, with license/attribution left to the source project, in 02_Resource_Catalog/links.md.

Layout

binary/ — DataView/Uint8Array reader helper and a small declarative struct parser.
checksums/ — CRC-8/16/32/32C/64, Fletcher-16/32.
encoding/ — Hex, BCD, ASCII, UTF-8 helpers.
hashing/ — SHA-1, SHA-256, MD5 reference implementations.
administrative/ — Safe metadata cataloging helpers for indexing script structure without enabling credential extraction.
tests/test_vectors.mjs — Self-test against standard published check values (e.g. CRC/hash of the ASCII string "123456789").

Notes

All functions operate on Uint8Array and avoid Node-only APIs so they can be adapted for other JavaScript hosts, subject to verifying exact API signatures in the installed Multi-PROG Local Script Help.
These are educational/reference implementations. Independently verify against tests/test_vectors.mjs and the CRC RevEng catalogue link before relying on them.
No cryptographic key material, immobilizer algorithms, or device-specific offsets are included.
